DURAARK at EUROGRAPHICS 3DOR

DURAARK’s recent submission to the EUROGRAPHICS Workshop on 3D Object Retrieval got accepted for oral presentation. Building on our prior contribution which was presented at GRAPP 2014 last month, the new paper going by the title Towards the extraction of Hierarchical Building Descriptions from 3D Indoor Scans extends semantic enrichment of indoor point cloud scans from an isolated storey up to whole buildings as well as down to the interior of single rooms. The newly introduced methods will ensure increased searchability as well as re-usability of archived building data.
